SLA vs LITHIUM
You can get more range out of the lithium pack with the same aH rating as a SLA,  because the you can get the full rated energy out of
LITHIUM at high discharge rates.  Also, since the voltage declines only a little as a lithium pack is discharges, you are also getting more
actual watt-hours (volts*amps*time) of energy for the same "amp-hour" rating. The weight savings is very noticeable. The standard
ratings for lead acid batteries are exaggerated for the discharge rates we are interested in. Most good SLA battery manufacturers
provide data sheets with the energy and run-time you can actually expect to get out of  them for a given power (amperage) output.
IMPORTANT!!!
SLA Batteries do not like being left in a discharged
state.Irreparable damage will occur if they are not
charged immediately after use. "

SLA BATTERIES
-  Will last longer if you charge  them slowly
(1 amp). Do not use chargers above 3 amps.
- Do not use automotive or motorcycle battery
charger to charge SLA batteries
- Automatic SLA battery chargers are
designed so that they can and will
not charge defective

SLA BATTERIES 30 Day Warranty
12v 12ah Battery $40
12v 10ah Battery $35

Battery Cost

SLA  3-12ah x $35 = $120
Average Charges = 300
Cost Per Charge = $00.40

LifePo4; 36 volt 15 AH = $500
Average Charges = 2000
Cost Per Charge = $00.25
BRUSH TYPE KITs;   ARE POWERFUL , HOWEVER, THEY DRAIN THE BATTERIES FASTER. IF YOU
WANT MORE DISTANCE FROM THIS TYPE OF KIT, DO NOT HOLD THE THROTTLE AT FULL POWER.
IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A 200LB PERSON TO GO 10-15 MILES (EVEN WITH HILLS) PRIOR TO NEEDING A
CHARGE IF PEDAL ASSIST IS USED CONSTANTLY, BUT THE BATTERIES WILL BE VERY DEPLETED.

12ah; 10-15 miles (mixed terrain) is more realistic for BRUSH type CONVERSION KIT.
12ah; 12-18 miles (mixed terrain) is more realistic for BRUSH-LESS CONVERSION KIT.
We are selling more LiFePo4 batteries because they are lighter,
longer lasting, much more powerful & require less attention
compared to SLA Batteries. Try before you buy!

Unless you Special Order a LiFePo4 Battery,
Our KITs Come With Three Extended Range12Volt (12ah or 14ah) Batteries
SLA (Sealed Lead Acid), Wired in Series (36volts)

- ITS PRETTY EASY SLA BATTERIES TO GO 20 MILES WHEN ALL CONDITIONS ARE PERFECT,
i.e; NO HILLS, GREAT BIKE/TIRE PERFORMANCE, WIND DIRECTION, RIDERS WEIGHT & PEDAL ASSIST.

DRAINED BATTERIES ARE INDICATED BY A FLASHING YELLOW LIGHT ON THE THROTTLE
(less than 20% power left).
RIDING WITH A YELLOW THROTTLE LIGHT ON WILL SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE BATTERIES.
(because they are 80+% drained)
TIP FOR GETTING MORE DISTANCE;   IF YOU COULD MAINTAIN A STEADY 3/4 POWER ON THE
THROTTLE
WHILE PEDALING...YOUR DISTANCE IS INCREASED GREATLY 15-20 MILES. COMPARED TO BRUSH TYPE
MOTORS...THE BRUSH-LESS MOTOR IS APPROX 25% MORE EFFICIENT
WHICH TRANSLATES TO MORE MILES TRAVELED BEFORE THE
LOW BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON.

Slow down; 1 Mph decrease in speed could extend your range 1 Mile!

WAYS TO DRAIN THE BATTERIES EXPONENTIALLY & OVER STRESS YOUR
MOTOR
1) GO UP A HILL AT FULL THROTTLE & NO PEDALING.
2) TAKE OFF FROM DEAD STOP W/OUT PEDALING.

Tips to Extend Battery Life

1) Even when your scooter is not being used batteries like to be
charged at least once a week for about 6 to 8 hours.
2) If you are using your scooter daily plug it in daily.
3) Batteries last much longer when they are not fully discharged.
4) Batteries like to be plugged in as soon as possible after use,
this also extends battery life.
5) Batteries don't like to be left on a charger for weeks or months,
6 to 8 hours up to a couple days is good enough.

Hope this helps keep your batteries healthy and long lasting. Have a safe ride.
Thanks for your business.
